Dear Traveler, we are currently experiencing some technical disruptions due to the change of booking platform. This mainly affects our online check-in, and we therefore refer to check-in desks at the respective airports until further notice. Don't worry, we promise to take good care of your children when they travel with our UM (Unaccompanied Minor) service. We offer children aged 5-11 to travel with us. For a child aged 5-11 traveling without an adult, it is mandatory to use the UM service (a traveler who is 16 years old or older is considered an adult and can travel with accompanying children).
A tip to ensure your unaccompanied child feels safe is to explain in advance what will happen during different parts of the journey, arrive early for check-in so you don't have to rush, and make sure the child has something to eat and occupy themselves with during the flight.
For bookings, please contact our Callcenter at +46 (0) 770-790 700. Unaccompanied minors must be booked at least 48 hours before departure. Unaccompanied minors cannot travel on a Student ticket.
Our unaccompanied minor service ensures that your child is accompanied through security, to the gate, boards the plane, is introduced to the cabin crew, assisted with any luggage, and handed over to the right person at the destination (with written approval from a parent/guardian)
A member of the cabin crew will welcome the child onboard and look after him or her for the duration of the flight.
After landing our airport staff will welcome the child at the gate and take him or her through to the baggage pick up and the arrival hall. The person who is collecting the child must arrive at the terminal on time, be a legal adult and have valid identification.
The parent/legal guardian must complete a form containing the child's personal information, travel route and the name of the person who will be meeting the child upon arrival. Download our unaccompanied minor form below and present this to our airport representatives when the child is checking in.
If there is a risk that the plane will land at a different airport due to bad weather or other extraordinary circumstances, we do not allow unaccompanied minors to travel on the flight.
We do not allow unaccompanied minors to bring animals, either in the cabin or the cargo hold. If the child has medical conditions that may require medication during the flight, the child must be able to manage this independently
