COVID-19 Information

Information regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

From July 6, Amapola recommends facial masks for all travelers over the age of 6 on all flights. As a passenger, you are responsible for bringing a mask yourself, and the mask should cover your nose and mouth.

We at Amapola Flyg AB take our responsibility by continuously following the recommendations given by the WHO, the Public Health Authority, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Swedish Transport Agency regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We expect you as a passenger to take your own responsibility and avoid traveling unless you absolutely have to. If you have symptoms such as cough, colds, sore throat, or fever, do not travel at all, and avoid physical contact with other people. In other cases, as a traveler, you must respect the recommendation of the Public Health Authority regarding social distance and keep a distance of 2 meters to the nearest person.

Our aircrafts are disinfected at least once a day, sometimes several times a day. Our aircrafts are equipped with highly efficient HEPA filters that take much smaller particles than SARS-CoV-2 which can result in COVID-19 ie coronavirus disease. The aircraft has plenty of space and part of our measures to reduce the spread of infection is that we want you to be separated from each other. Our cabin crew are instructed to take care of this in the best way. Hand disinfectant is available on board. In addition, on our short flights, we currently have no serving to reduce the risk of infection spreading. We at Amapola care about your health. Flying is safe and the Public Health Agency found in its infection tracking in March that no one had been infected while traveling on an aircraft.
